** "VIRTUAL ADOPTEES" are dogs that are too old, or too sick, to have much hope of being adopted. They are settled into their foster homes where they will remain until their life is over. Their foster family will continue to care for them and love them as long as some quality of life can be maintained. They continue to receive vet care and medications as needed. If you are unable to bring a dog into your home, but would like to "virtually" adopt one of these, the foster mom or dad will be happy to send you updates on their progress and new pictures every now and then. There is no set donation; any amount will help. Contact the Treasurer at 301-434-1086 for more information.
