Anthony was picked up from the Westmoreland Co., VA shelter where he had lived for about two months. He was picked up as a stray and the shelter staff held onto him as long as they could because of his wonderful temperment. Anthony now is in a foster home and is a very loving dog.

We believe he is about 5 years old, he is neutered, and up to date on his shots. He is currently being treated for heartworms and will be ready for adoption around March 1, 2007. Not enough sweet things can be said about this big teddy bear of a Dal. He is extremely gentle with small children, he is crate and house trained, and he does not bark except to go outside to do his personal business. He is living with a cat named Etta (which he is curious about) and 9 other dogs. His kind face is just the beginning of his lovely temperment. Anthony can hear and is very responsive to any human contact. He takes treats with a soft mouth. EVERYONE that meets this boy falls in love with him.

Upon completion of Anthony's heartworm treatment, this young beautiful Dal will be ready to steal the heart of anyone.
