Baylee is an eight-year-old female we found advertised on Craigs List. We convinced the owner that, if he would turn her over to our rescue, we would find a good and loving family--a much better outcome than giving her to the first person to show up at his door.

She is still a little shell-shocked from the changes in her life. She was first rescued as a puppy when she was found emaciated and left in the snow, then the only family she had loved no longer had time for her. Baylee is slowly adjusting to new surroundings. Her favorite pastime is having long conversations and snuggles with her new best friend and "gal pal" in a calm, quiet corner of the house. Even though she is a little shy, Baylee will be the first to the front door to welcome a guest and she gets along well with the two other resident dogs.

Baylee has been brought up to date on her vaccines, is heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative; she's house trained and crate trained. She has been enrolled in a class to help her get over her shyness and is being showered with TLC at home. If you think that Baylee would be a good fit with your family, we hope you will consider submitting an application...she's looking for a home with older children who will understand that she needs some quiet time for a power nap now and then.
