KIP (Courtesy Posting)

Kip rescued himself from an abusive home by breaking his chain. My neighbor found him at the local grocery store with his chain still attached and some brush entangled in it. Efforts to find his owner were to no avail. At first he would not bark or do much of anything other than stare. His tattered ears slowly healed and he finally barked. He bonded with Kali, my other Dalmatian, and became a happy, well-adjusted dog. He has been my running and walking partner for the last 10 years. His sister Kali died two years ago. Kip loves to run and take walks. He is a very gentle soul. His only negative is that he will bolt if given the chance,

Kip is a neutered male Dalmatian, weighing 58 pounds. He is current on all his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm preventative. Our newborn son is very allergic to him so, through no fault of Kip's, we need to find him another home.

Kip is an indoor dog, rides well in a car, is obedience trained, leash trained, and housebroken. He gets along with other dogs and children, but is not fond of cats. Kip is well behaved and doesn't dig, chew, or bark excessively. Kip is in Dover DE.
