Lulu came to us out of a rural shelter. We don't know anything about her background, but at some point she must have been attacked by another dog. She is wonderful with all kinds of humans but she doesn't trust dogs, so her first instinct is to warn them off. Because of this, she will be much happier in a home with a couple of older, active kids (but no other dogs) and a safely fenced yard to play in.

Lulu is four years old, and slightly over-weight right now at 54 pounds. She is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative.

This beautiful girl has a tail that is in constant motion and a smiling happy face. When she wants attention, she becomes very "vocal" and practically "talks" to you! She is housebroken and crate-trained. Her foster mom is working on gaining enough trust to allow easy nail trims, but she has already learned to love being brushed.

Lulu enjoys interactions with people of all ages; however, she could benefit from obedience lessons with her new family to help her learn the new rules and to bond. If you want a snuggle bunny who will give you all of her attention, then Lulu is the girl for you.
