Hi, I'm Mark. I'm a 4-year-old, neutered Dalmatian. I'm heartworm negative, up to date on all my vaccines, on monthly heartworm preventative, and weigh in at close to 70 pounds.

My foster mom is taking me to a place called "obedience school." All I know is that I'm having a lot of fun, meeting other dogs (some are really STRANGE looking!!) and making my mom proud. I've already learned to sit, lay down, stand, and stay. I'm still a little shaky about the "heel" mom walks too slow for me and I just want her to speed up!

I'm also learning to "play in the yard" at my foster home. I never knew how to do that before and it isn't quite comfortable for me yet. My mom takes me into the yard on a leash and I'm fine, but when she turns me loose and tells me to "go play," I just run back to the door. I sure hope I can overcome this soon, because the others look like they are having a lot of fun. If you have a big fenced yard that I could continue to practice "running" in, I hope you will apply.
