Sioux's vet thinks she is about six years old, but she acts more like two. This beautiful little girl was given away by her first owner, then turned in to the local animal shelter by her second owner. When CCDAL got her, she was about ten pounds underweight and she didn't trust any human very much.

Once she settled in and realized that she would have regular meals, she made every effort to please her foster mom. Sioux learns quickly, and she knows "sit," "down," and "stay." She is working on "out of the kitchen." This young lady would do very well in an obedience class because she loves to learn.

Sioux is now at about the correct weight, and she certainly is healthy and vigorous. She loves to run and romp in the yard. Since she can run about 35 miles per hour, she will need a fenced yard to keep her safe.

She's wearing her heart on her chest (can you see it?). Do you have a place in your home and heart to put this little girl?
