Sonya is a senior female that is spayed, up to date on all shots, heartworm negative and on preventative. She is a petite little gal weighing only 39 pounds. She was rescued from the Spotsylvania Co., VA shelter. She was picked up as a stray, weighing only 30 pounds and the entire shelter staff fell in love with her.

When she was taken to the vet she kissed the doctors and staff. Sonya has a temperment of a gentle angel. She is excellent with other dogs, small children, and all people. She is not a barker, is not destructive, and enjoys being cuddled for hours. She is house and crate trained and curious about cats.

Sonya would be a perfect companion to someone that wants a laid back dog that is not typically high energy. She is very easy on a lead and has a very soft mouth when taking treats. Sonya is extremely affectionate and longs for a loving home. Can you open your heart for this perfect little girl?
