Triton was found as a stray. He jumped willingly into his rescuer's car and gave her kisses. After a week of putting up posters, notifying vets and shelters, and canvassing the neighborhood, it was determined that Triton's owner would not be looking for him.

This wonderful, loving dog adjusted rapidly to his foster home. He lives with four other Dalmatians, enjoys running in the yard, chasing and being chased. He is housetrained, up to date on all vaccines, heartworm negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative. Triton is NOT crate-trained. He does not like being in a crate at all, but he sleeps peacefully all night on a dog bed in the living room. He is very respectful of his bedding, and has not been the least bit destructive when left alone for extended periods.

Triton is a young, healthy dog with a high degree of energy. Because of this, he will need a relatively large, safely fenced yard in which to run and play. He would be great with another dog or with active older children. Triton is reported to have lived with cats in the past, so cats should not be a problem in his new home.
